This was our first ever trip to Center Parcs and we were so impressed. The kids absolutely loved it and we could not recommend it enough! Although Adam did end up sick on the last night. The pool area is amazing with all variety of water slides, chutes and flumes, rapids and waves! Plenty of areas to cycle too and in fact we only went places on our bikes or feet. The family zip wire was great with daddy making a complete fool of himself 25 feet up , people underneath him and continually falling over on the Burma Bridge only to be shown how it was done by Adam, Amber and Mummy!!! The accomodation was superb and even our visitors, squirrels, ducks and moor hens made the trip a great and must be repeated experience!

Adams 9th Birthday Bash
Devon Holiday August 2007
This holiday started as most of the last UK holidays have - rain!! We did though in 1 week get 3 days on the beach which really was impressive. Saunton Sands was the beach of choice which had great surf, a lovely cafe called "Sands" and stunning views.
Adam and Amber decided that body boarding was the new craze. It was great to see Gran and Grandad and make sure that Gran was ok after her hip operation!
We had a day trip to Lynton and Lynmouth which meant we went up in a cliff railway which was very scary. We had a day at the Big Sheep which was great fun - it involved Adam and Daddy fighting other people in a laser battlefield, also Adam and Amber both fed 3 week old lambs.
Trying to get Adam out of the sea was tricky as he loved his body boarding so much that long hair, VW Camper Vans and Surf Boards will be a trend for quite some time! They were both "radical" surfers man!!
Race for Life 2007
Julie and friend Louise complete the race for life, 5km run in aid of Cancer Research.
They were both so confident about it that they have now entered the Windsor 8km run for women. The best thing is that these races are for women only so myself and Louises husband Nick can just sit, drink beer and wait for them to finish the race!
VICTORY!!!
Would you believe it! 3-0 in the final of the Halton Tournament against Holmer Green. Adam played his heart out especially in the semi final and final as did
all of the boys. The team was named the whites as this year we entered 3 teams, blacks, reds and whites. All 3 teams did well with one team making the semi final and the other just missing out on group qualification. Any team we put in could have won the final and we are all so proud. The team for the final was Alex C, Adam, Duncan, James, Ben, Jake and Ed. Ben scored 1 and Ed scored 2 in the final. A truly great day for all at Wendover Junior Football club!
Mablethorpe 2007
Mablethorpe started in the same vain as the previous trips to Clacton06 and Clacton05. Early defeats with not too much sign of a victory although the boys certainly battled hard. Eventually for the first time in 3 years Wendover actually won 2 games 1-0 with Ben appearing on the score sheet
both times.
It was a first this year as Amber and Mummy came too which ensured we had some decent food inside us! Weather could have been better but no real rain. The beach was stunning and we managed to stop off at Nick and Helens on the way back in Donington.
